My goal for my sculpture is to mimic the works of Barbara Hepworth and Giacometti to explore both their vastly different styles and challenge myself to create a sculpture resembling both styles. I want to focus on Hepworth’s use of negative space and organic forms that create a sense of unity and harmony. I wish to use Giacometti style to explore the elongation of the body and the texture of materials.
